We offer Ballet for Adults as well as Ballet for FAMILY where adults and child/children can participate.

Did you know Ballet is one of the most completed interdisciplinary dance form ?  ​So whatever your motivation is (posture, flexibility. pose, ....., learning Ballet will open up possibilities wherever you go and will benefit you for the rest of your life! This course will also allow you to better appreciate the art of Dance culture, CUBAN culture in particular .

With many of us still social distancing, we want to make sure you can find virtual dance activities to keep your family active, healthy and engaged 

What you will learn

Ballet class (Adults Only)
This class is designed for adults , 18+ who want to learn, refresh or refined technical ability. Classes will consist of barre exercises that focus on proper alignment as well as the steps which foster core and leg strength and flexibility.
The center work introduce elementary steps, simple jumps as well as turns.
No prior experience is necessary.
note: you don't need lot of space to take this class, neither a barre at home, as you can use a chair 🪑as alternative 

Ballet class (Family)
Introduce the joy of movement and dance with an introductory class that helps develop flexibility, coordination, balance and grace using  techniques from ballet, creative movement and playful educational games. 
In 1hour class you spend time with your family dancing and singing songs in Spanish!!!​

ABOUT YOUR  BALLET TEACHER 

Anilce Scasso, born and raised in Havana, Cuba, began her dance training in classical ballet at the School of Ballet in Havana, Cuba.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Arts in Havana and her graduate thesis centered on eating disorders and nutrition in ballet. For over ten years now, Anilce has been teaching young children and adolescents from a wide range of dance levels. She has also
served as a member of the committee responsible for evaluating auditions and admitting young dancers
to the School of Ballet in Havana.

From 2009 through 2012, she worked in Ecuador at Pam’s Dance School as a ballet and jazz instructor, where her main responsibility was teaching and developing ballet techniques in children and teenagers.
In addition to teaching, she has also organized auditions and choreography for ballet and jazz ensembles and trained students for international ballet compettions in Cuba and Ecuador. She has prepared students for the Royal Academy of Dance entrance exam and worked in Miami teaching ballet techniques to gymnastic students.
Currently, she is part of the Ballet Hispanico Faculty in New York City and The Cuban School of Arts teachers members. 
She works for the Adventures in dance, General and Pre Professional Program as a ballet instructor.
