Service Description

*End the year with rhythm, energy, and connection!* Join acclaimed Cuban dancer Damarys Farres, founder of DCubanSchool of Arts, for a vibrant new series of AfroCuban & Rumba online dance sessions this November. These interactive open-level classes bring the joy and cultural richness of Cuba directly to your home. AfroCuban dance is the soul of Cuba โ€” a celebration of its African heritage, spirituality, and storytelling through movement. In these sessions, youโ€™ll explore: ๐ŸŒฟ Ararรก (Dahomey) โ€“ graceful and grounded, embodying power and fluidity. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Palo (Bantu) โ€“ earthy, rhythmic, and deeply spiritual, inspired by Congo roots. ๐ŸŒŠ Orishas (Yoruba) โ€“ expressive, symbolic dances honouring Yoruba deities, each with unique rhythms and meaning. These online sessions are perfect for dancers of all levels. Youโ€™ll build rhythm, coordination, and expression while learning the deeper meanings behind each movement. Classes also prepare you for our Annual Aseile Training Programme, held every October, designed for those wishing to advance in AfroCuban and Rumba studies. Why Train with Damarys Farres? An internationally respected Cuban dancer, choreographer, and cultural ambassador, Damarys Farres brings over 20 years of experience and a lifetime of passion for her heritage.
