These open-level classes blend movement, culture, and energy, guiding you through the soulful roots of Cuban dance. AfroCuban dance embodies Cuba’s spiritual heartbeat, rooted in African traditions and storytelling. Explore: 🌿 Arará (Dahomey) – graceful and grounded, celebrating power and flow. 🔥 Palo (Bantu) – earthy, rhythmic, and full of strength and spirituality. 🌊 Orishas (Yoruba) – expressive dances honouring Yoruba deities, each with its own rhythm and symbolism. Then dive into the world of Cuban Rumba, the island’s most playful and dynamic dance form: 💃 Yambú – elegant and gentle, danced solo or in pairs. 🔥 Guaguancó – rhythmic, flirtatious, and full of joy. ⚡ Columbia – fast and improvisational, celebrating agility and spirit. These sessions help you build technique, rhythm, and cultural awareness — perfect for beginners and experienced dancers alike. They also prepare you for our Annual Aseile Training Programme each October, a deeper exploration of AfroCuban and Rumba mastery. Why Train with Damarys Farres?
