WHAT IS 110% MUJER?

110% MUJER is a dance and personal growth project dedicated to women — a welcoming space to learn, connect, express your femininity, celebrate your individuality and grow in confidence.

Created and led by internationally respected Cuban dance artist Damarys Farres, this transformational experience combines authentic Cuban and Afro-Cuban technique, musicality, cultural understanding, creativity and sisterhood.

Because moving is not necessarily dancing. Dance is about technique, intention, understanding the music and discovering the story behind the movement.

Here, we don't simply learn steps. We learn to understand the dance, feel the music and make it our own.

Whether you're developing your technique, returning to dance or simply looking for a supportive community of women, this is your space to learn, explore and shine.

THE 110% MUJER EXPERIENCE

Our immersive three-hour sessions explore three connected dimensions:

DANCE — ROOTS & TECHNIQUE

Develop Cuban and Afro-Cuban technique, posture, coordination, body awareness and rhythmic foundations. Discover the cultural roots and meaning behind the movements.

EMBRACE — RHYTHM & EXPRESSION

Explore Rumba, Bailes Populares, musicality, interpretation and feminine styling. Connect with the music and discover your individuality through dance.

TRANSFORM — FREEDOM & CONFIDENCE

Bring everything together through Cuban Salsa, footwork, improvisation and dance-floor expression. Develop the confidence to dance with freedom, personality and authenticity.

TRUST THE PROCESS

Our teaching is progressive and flexible, adapting to the group's development rather than following a rigid weekly syllabus. We take time to explore, practise and deepen essential skills, connecting technique, culture and musicality throughout the journey.

AN OPTIONAL OPPORTUNITY TO SHINE

For women who wish to take their journey further, there is also the opportunity to participate in a professional group video project or performance experience.

Participation is entirely optional. No pressure to perform or be filmed.

YOUR NOVEMBER EXPERIENCE

Dates: Sundays 15, 22 & 29 November 2026.

Break: No class on 8 November.

Time: 2:30–5:30 pm.

Venue: Tradestars Islington, 4–10 North Road, London N7 9EY.

Duration: Three three-hour training sessions (9 hours), plus an optional professional video experience.
