A Journey Back to Yourself
Take a moment to reconnect with your body, your breath and your inner energy.
Goddess Connect invites women to explore the powerful qualities associated with Yemayá and Oshún through movement, dance, breathing, music, cultural exploration and sisterhood.
This is a space to move freely, discover something new and experience how different energies can be expressed through your body — in dance, in connection with others and in everyday life.
Come curious. Come as you are.
Move, breathe, connect and discover your inner Goddess.
What Is Goddess Connect?
Goddess Connect is an immersive experience for women inspired by the energies and qualities of two powerful Orishas: Yemayá and Oshún.
Rather than focusing on one particular dance style, we explore how these energies can be experienced through the body.
Through movement, dance technique, breath, rhythm and cultural exploration, you will have the opportunity to connect with different qualities such as flow, strength, femininity, sensuality, joy, presence and self-expression.
We will explore these qualities through different Cuban movement and dance forms, including Rumba, Timba Cubana and popular Cuban dance, as well as choreography and creative movement.
You don't need to arrive knowing how to dance.
You simply need to be open to moving, exploring and connecting.
