These vibrant Cuban sessions explore the art of Styling for men and women, combining Cuban and Afro-Cuban dance, musicality, body movement, footwork, partner connection, and practical tips for social dancing.

This timeless approach to dance highlights musicality, coordination, and the art of connection between partners — whether dancing solo or in pairs.

What You’ll Learn in This 2-Hour Workshop:

• These progressive workshops are designed to develop your technique, confidence, and personal style — whether you dance solo or with a partner. Suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced dancers, you’ll gain insights into Cuban movement, musical interpretation, and expressive freedom.

• Styling & Technique: Add flair to your dancing with refined body movement, partner interaction, arm coordination, and precise footwork.

• Each 2-hour session includes: Hour 1: Technique — body movement, posture, arm & hand styling, isolation, coordination, and partner interaction.

• Hour 2: Creative application — footwork, styling, musicality, routine building, choreo and partner practice inspired by Salsa Casino, Timba, Afro-Cuban, Son, and Rumba.

• Optional filmed group choreography during the final workshop. A WhatsApp group will be available to share music, videos, and insights.

• DAMARYS FARRES: a classically trained Cuban dancer, choreographer, and educator. Based in London, she’s the founder of the Cuban School of Arts, a former UK Salsa Champion, and an ambassador of Cuban culture worldwide. She’s curated for the BBC, pioneered several Cuban festivals in the UK, and mentored dancers of all levels. Her classes are soulful, technical, and rooted in tradition — a true celebration of self-expression through dance.
