Cuba has a rich history of dancing and many different styles, such as Salsa and Rumba, originate from Cuba. We also well know for some of the finest trained dancers, such as Carlos Acosta. Since the beginning of Lockdown we started to offer ONLINe DANCE classes for Small groups and 1-1 tuition. We also expanded our popular ONLiNe approach by offering Private SPANISH & MUSIC classes or courses ONLiNe. All tailor to your specifications.

Of Cuban Origen the Rumba umbrella comprises three main styles of Rumba: Yambú, Guaguancó & Columbia. Each has their own rhythm and characteristic of dance and music.

GUAGUANCÓ
Of Cuban Origen the GUAGUANCÓ is one of the three main styles of the Rumba umbrella. Is a fun, seductive, erotic , adrenaline high couples dance. which represents the courtship and sexual competition between the male and female dancer. *Vacunao (‘vaccination’ or more specifically ‘injection’), is a gesture symbolising sexual penetration by the male, from with the female has to protect. Not suitable for the lighthearted :-) No partner needed .

COLUMBIA
Of Cuban Origen *COLUMBIA is a Solo Male Competitive , virtuous , acrobatic, rich in movement Style. Mainly for male dancers to demonstrate their virility and ability. Although some women danced , learn and teach this style of Rumba, there is important to understand the etiquette and codes of this more than a dance a style a cultural way of living of Cuban Rumberos, *Women are welcome of our courses, where we teach the cultural aspects also.

AFRO-CUBAN
The Afro-Cuban dances comprises dances with Yoruba Influences , know as Orishas/Orichas o Santeria, Dahomeian influences, know as Arara and the ones with Bantu influences know as Palo.
Oricha/Orisa/Orisha dances are religious manifestations of The Regla de Ocha (also known as Regla Lucumí/LuKumí) and are traditionally performed with Batá drums.
Palo dances involve many pelvic and torso movements. Palo, Makuta and Yuka came from the region of Congo west Africa Bantu religion.

Originated in Cuba, the Cha-Cha-Cha is a vibrant, flamboyant, lively, fun, cheeky and playful dance. It requires small steps and lots of hip (Cuban motion)
