Ready to challenge yourself, sharpen your footwork and bring more personality to your Cuban Salsa?

Join Damarys for four exciting Thursdays exploring the rhythm, technique, musicality and expressive movement of Cuban Salsa and Timba.

This is a mixed-gender solo footwork course for improvers and intermediate dancers. Everyone learns the same core material, with opportunities to develop their own styling and individual expression.

And because Ladies' Styling received so much support in our community poll, we'll be incorporating body movement and styling tips for everyone throughout the programme!

🔥 YOUR FOUR-WEEK JOURNEY

🥁 Week 1 — Find Your Rhythm | 5 November

Build strong Timba footwork foundations through timing, weight transfers, Cuban body movement and pasos sueltos. Discover how to recognise musical accents and connect your steps to the music.

💃 Week 2 — Add Your Cuban Flavour | 12 November

Explore syncopations, dynamic footwork, body isolations and playful Rumba-inspired movement. Develop your own styling choices, personal expression and confidence.

🔥 Week 3 — Turns, Crosses & Musical Breaks | 19 November

Challenge yourself with crossing steps, turns, changes of direction and rhythmic accents. Learn how to respond to the exciting changes in Timba music and create expressive combinations.

⭐ Week 4 — Your Timba, Your Style! | 26 November

Bring everything together in a short, energetic routine. Explore guided improvisation, individual expression and dancing with confidence.

Finish the course with new skills, greater musicality and your own Cuban flavour!

📅 COURSE INFORMATION

• Dates: Thursdays 5, 12, 19 & 26 November 2026

• Time: 8:30–9:30 pm

• Venue: Orleans Club, 259–261 Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, London N4 2DD

• Price: £55 for the complete four-week course

• Level: Improvers and intermediate

• Format: Solo footwork, open to men and women — no partner needed

Your £55 booking covers all four Thursday sessions, plus social dance. This is a progressive course, and attending all four weeks is recommended to get the most from the programme.

A limited number of discounted four-week course tickets are available for full-time students aged 18–25.

The ticket includes all four specialist classes plus Cuban Nights social dancing afterwards.
