Damarys has pioneered numerous initiatives, including the UK's first Son Cubano Festival, ensuring the rich traditions of Cuban dance and music thrive. A legend in Cuban Son, Juan Carlos Pacheco, known as "El Sonero," has dedicated his life to this traditional genre. Trained by the esteemed Silvio Stevens "El Rey del Tornillo," Juan Carlos has performed with icons like the Buena Vista Social Club and Septeto Habanero. His collaboration with Damarys Farres ensures that El Son Cubano Fest resonates with the authentic rhythms of Cuban Son.

Anier began his journey at the tender age of five, representing Havana's Carnavales in La Mazucamba for over a decade. Professionally trained at the Yoruba Association of Cuba, traveling to Venezuela in a cultural exchange with Grupo Folklórico OLORUM and Grupo IRAWO. Now based in London, he collaborates with the Cuban School of Arts, providing his knowledge and unique Casino style into every workshop.

Internationally acclaimed duo, Osbanis Tejeda from Cuba and Anneta Kepka from Poland, are celebrated for their innovative fusion of Cuban dance styles. Their unique approach blends traditional movements with contemporary flair, captivating audiences worldwide. Having taught and performed across six continents, their workshops at El Son Cubano Fest promise to inspire and energize dancers of all levels.
