A legend in Cuban Son, Juan Carlos Pacheco, known as "El Sonero," has dedicated his life to this traditional genre. Trained by the esteemed Silvio Stevens "El Rey del Tornillo," Juan Carlos has performed with icons like the Buena Vista Social Club and Septeto Habanero. His collaboration with Damarys Farres ensures that El Son Cubano Fest resonates with the authentic rhythms of Cuban Son.
Anier Jova Rojas
Cuban Casino Dance Specialist
Anier began his journey at the tender age of five, representing Havana's Carnavales in La Mazucamba for over a decade. Professionally trained at the Yoruba Association of Cuba, traveling to Venezuela in a cultural exchange with Grupo Folklórico OLORUM and Grupo IRAWO. Now based in London, he collaborates with the Cuban School of Arts, providing his knowledge and unique Casino style into every workshop.
